Exceedingly dumbfounded by the refusal of both Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars to play 11 players each.
The teams are playing with 10 players each. Though FIFA doesn’t frown upon this practice, same belongs to the stone ages.
There is no discernible reason for such an archaic phenomenon to reign supreme in modern football.
Such superstitious beliefs must not have space in our game. Aduana Stars can choose to play with 7 players, Asante Kotoko is the greatest club in Ghana and must lead by example.
The world is watching Ghana football. We don’t get international corporations sponsoring a league which features teams mindsets depicting how the game used to be played in the 70s.
This must not repeat itself. It is disgraceful, putting it mildly.
