The Executive Council of the Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA), today, elected the Bankroller and Founder of Kwahu Youth Academy, in person of Mr.Abubakari Braimah to become the Vice-Chairman.
The Vice-Chairman election was held at the Kof Royal Touch Hotel in Koforidua on Thursday, February 27, at the maiden Executive Council meeting.
Per the new GFA statutes, the Vice-Chairman of the Association had to be elected from the new Executive Council which was a departure from the previous practice of appointing someone to assist the Association’s Chairman.
However, two members on the executive council contested for the Vice-Chairmanship position. During the election, Abubakari Braimah accumulated the highest number of 6 votes and Rev. Samuel Kotoka picked 4 votes after the election.
