The Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association, Mr, Linford Asamoah Boadu, Who doubles as GFA Executive Council and National Team Review Committee member has observed reactions to a reportage being carried by BATV platforms which have several distortions to an interview he granted.
In clarifying issues, the RFA Chairman believes that most of the information reported by the media house does not merit what he said in the interview and most of the words have been twisted.
Excerpts of the statement read that, Mr. Linford Asamoah Boadu a member of the National Team Review Committee and Exco member disclosed to BA TV ANOPA BOSUO SPORTS that, national team coaches will have contracts after three(3)months assessment. National teams at the moment have no bidding contract with the FA.
In view of appointing the committee, there was a mandate given to us which is as followed: The Committee was given a three-month mandate as tasked to present a paper on the structure, membership and functions of the technical teams of all national teams.
The National Team’s review Committee will also advise the GFA on the possible emoluments and rewards for players and technical team members.
Aside its other functions, the Committee will also make recommendations on the payments to be made to the management committees of all national teams and prepare a Code of Conduct for players, technical teams and management committee members for all national teams.
In relation to this, I (Linford Asamoah) wish to reiterate that, the committee has no way interfering in as to when and where coaches must be appointed.
Even though it’s clear at the Ghana FA official website that all the national teams have their various coaches and assistance.
