Eastern Regional Football Association Cappo Linford Asamoah Boadu has joined the Ghana FA awareness to fight against the deadly Coronavirus disease.
The Executive Council member of the GFA has joined the lots of celebrated sports personalities campaigning against the global pandemic.
Since its outbreak in China’s Wuhan Province, the disease has spread to over 120 countries across the globe, killing thousands of people.
Forty-Three Africa countries has not been without the pandemic like Uganda, Zambia, Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo, Cameroon, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Tanzania, Mali, have all recorded cases.
In Ghana, fifty-three cases have been recorded with two deaths as at now March 25, 2020.
The Ghana Health Service has indicated that more cases are likely to be recorded because the country has no robust medical system but Ghanaians have to adhere to the precautionary measures.
Linford Asamoah joined the list of Ghanaian sports personalities such as Abdul Baba Rahman, Jonathan Mensah, John Antwi, CK Akonnor, Ernestina Abambila, Elizabeth Addo, Yaw Yeboah, Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Samuel Owusu, Samuel Aboabire educating Ghanaians on the need to adhere to the precautionary measures.
