The Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) is seeking for an experienced and reputable auditing firm to assume the position of the associations independent and external auditor.

Over the years the Ghana Audit Service has been auditing the Eastern Regional Football Association’s accounts. However, it has become imminent to engage an independent auditing firm to take up this responsibility following the administrative guidelines approved by clubs in the 2019 GFA Statutes.

Per Article 67 of the GFA Statutes 2019 upon which the ERFA seek this appointment states that:

“The independent and external auditors appointed by the Congress shall audit on a yearly basis the management accounts of the GFA in accordance with the appropriate principles of accounting and present a report to Congress.”

“The auditors shall be appointed for a period of three years and be internationally recognized entities. This mandate may be renewed. The audited accounts shall be published in the national dailies in compliance with the Companies Act of Ghana.”

The Executive Council of the Eastern Regional Football Association will undertake an initial screening of all applications and proposals to select the best Auditing firm to handle the ERFA’s audits before presenting their documents to members of the association at a Congress for approval.

Interested auditing firms should submit their applications and proposals to the Eastern Regional Football Associations office, E.mail or by post to the address below latest by 5:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2020.
