Kumasi Asante Kotoko today began their morning session of training after the team arrived in Koforidua, eastern regional capital, for their preseason camping ahead of the coming football season.
The Premier League giants will be camping for about three weeks to prepare for the coming season. The team will be basing at the Royal Plaza Hotel, and have their training sessions at the All Nations University pitch in Koforidua – Akwadum road.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu and his team are expected to fix in some low profile friendly matches while in Koforidua to get the team in shape for the start of the season.
The 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season will officially kick off on November 13. With the Baba Yara sports stadium still under renovations, Asante Kotoko have chosen the Accra sports stadium as their home ground for their league matches as well as their CAF Champions League campaign.
