H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana has issued a strong warning to Ghanaians concerning the adherence to the covid-19 protocol.
This is the 22nd time the president is addressing the nation concerning Covid 19. Addressing the nation on Sunday, 17 January 2020, President Akufo-Addo was worried over the recent surge of Covid-19 cases across the country.
The president made it known that 13 regions out of the entire 16 regions have been hit by the deadly coronavirus.
He pleaded to Ghanaians to adhere to the covid-19 protocols in order to bring the situation under control.
He was quick to say that he will be left with no option than to impose a partial lockdown and close down schools again, if the need be to curtail the spread of the deadly virus.
He however added that security personnel and regulatory agencies will work vigorously to ensure that citizens adhere to the protocol.
