As part of the current administration of the Eastern Regional Football Association program to periodically engage with clubs and other stakeholders of the association, the Executive council today 18th September 2020 held a fruitful meeting with the Division Two Club administrators to brief them on issues pertaining to the upcoming 2020/2021 football season. 

The 3 hours meeting which took place at the office of RFA via zoom was to update members on the modalities and regulations from the GFA to RFA and the way forward for Eastern Region Football. 

“We need to share with our members our plans for the season following the directives from the GFA and to seek their views and contributions on the various areas of the Association”. said, Chairman”. 

The Executive Council also used this opportunity to discuss further with clubs on the sponsorship package from IGimel Kit manufacture for the RFA and Clubs, effective and equitable ways in branding the  Eastern Regional Football Association, the Association’s engagement with GFA in accessing the FIFA COVID-19 relief stimulus package, among others. 

“The clubs expressed their excitement over this kind of platform where their views can be included in the administration of the game in the region.  

“This is a very good and useful exercise. It’s a prudent idea by our Chairman, and the decisions and strategies from the members of our executive council to develop and promote the game in the Eastern region and Ghana are commendable” clubs remarks. 

Chairman of the Association, Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah in his final remarks extended his gratitude to all the club’s representatives for their contributions, suggestions and participation.   

“The Executive Council will proceed with our engagements with other stakeholders for a clear decision on the way forward and support for our membership in a difficult time like this”.
