The Eastern Regional Football Association would like to inform all our stakeholders that the Field Inspection Team will commence its activities of final inspection of match venues and facilities to be used for the 2020/21 football season from Monday, 21st September 2020.

As the football fraternity awaits government to lift the ban on all contacts sporting activities during this COVID 19 pandemic, the Eastern RFA wants to ensure the match venues are in good condition to host competitive football matches.

The team will begin its work visiting the various selected pitches and other facilities to ensure proper adherence to regulations ahead of the new season.

The team will be inspecting fencing at the various match venues, the standard of the pitches and the closeness of the match venues to a health centre in cases of emergency on match days and other vital facilities to ensure comfort and security during matches.

Per suggested guidelines for the commencement of the football season, matches will take place under closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions which ban fans from attending football matches globally and in situations that fans are not allowed, it will be only a very few.

We would like to encourage all football administrators and pitch managers under the association to support the team as they take on this project.

The inspection team is made up of three members, Rev. Samuel Kotoka as the leader, Yussif Rockson and Saliu Mohammed.
