Chelsea postal boy Hakim Ziyech has become the first player to write his name in the history books of the English Premier League, after breaking Arsenal’s legend Thierry Henry’s 11 years record.
The 27-year-old midfielder was absolutely exceptional in Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over premier league side Sheffield United last Saturday at Standford Bridge. He was a key and inaugural figure in that game.
After Tammy Abraham equalized for Chelsea in that game, Hakim Ziyech assisted England international Ben chillwell to extend Chelsea’s lead in the game.
In the second department of the game he assisted Thiago Silva to extend Chelsea’s victory, later on in the game Timo Werner converted a wonderful shot into a goal to give Chelsea their 4th goal of the game.
The Moroccan International, Hakim Ziyech is the only and fastest player in the history of the premier league to be directly involved 5+ goals and assists in every game he has started in a particular season since Thiery Henry in 2009 for Arsenal.
He is proving to be an important and elite signing for Chelsea and he he might also be a key figure in Chelsea’s quest for glory in the UEFA Champions League this season.
