The Nkawkaw-Akutuase based Asarit Academy FC yesterday silenced Stars of Africa Academy by a 3-1 score line that was highly expected following the Academy side’s impressive performance against Zaytun Soccer Academy on Friday.

Asarit Academy Football Club started the game very well with the first attempt as Desmond was played through with a long pass but his cross was cut off by the Stars of Africa Academy backline.

In a club friendly at the Enyiresi Town Park, Asarit Academy boys lived up to their believe that they could do the magic after the end of the game to pick up the 3 maximum points needed.


The home team dominated the second half creating lots of opportunities but were always uncomfortably staying at the back allowing their visitors to dictate the movement of the game.

The former Black Stars Right-Back, Emmanuel Asare’s club scored all their three goals with free kicks in the first half after the opponent side getting one equalizer in the same half.

Both team displayed tranquility in the game to caught the attention of the community to watch without any violence as the fans rewarded the boys with standing ovation.
