Niger has expressed readiness to host the U-20 WAFU zone B tournament schedule for this month.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) are considering to rename a host for the tournament after Togo announced their unpreparedness.

The tournament is slated for November 18, 2020.

In an official statement published last Wednesday, the Togolese Football Federation confirmed that it was no longer able to organize the competition due to the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Niger has therefore shown its interest in hosting the competition since the organizers have indicated that the date for the tournament remains unchanged.

It should be remembered that 7 countries of the UFOA-B zone will take part in this competition and are divided into two as follows: Pool A: Togo – Burkina Faso- Benin and Niger

Pool B: Nigeria – Ghana and Ivory Coast. Credit: CAF
