Management of the one time Premier League giants, Okwawu United has announced the playing body have begin training session at their new training grounds in Nkawkaw.
The club has adopted Awoyo Park in Nkawkaw Asuogya as their new grounds for the upcoming 2020/21 football season in the country.
The Soccer Mountaineers had for a long time held its training session on a piece of land near Angolamu Lorry Station in Nkawkaw.
Okwawu United moved to the Awoyo Park for its training sessions after their training ground in Atta ne Atta was taken over by government to convert it into a hospitality facility.
The Ultra Modern World-class Sports Stadium to be constructed by government is expected to be completed in 2023 for the All African Games after Ghana won the hosting bid.
Currently, the Division Two club has 30 players in their camp, including old and new players like skipper Prince Siaw and others.
After the departure of former player and Coach Adolf Adu Botwe, Okwawu United named coach Samuel Addo also a former player to step in as stop gab coach for now until any changes in the technical bench happens before league resume.
The start of Division Two League is yet to be announce by the Ghana Football Association.
