A Second COVID-19 test conducted on the seven affected players of the National U20 and U17 female team have come out negative paving way for the isolated players to rejoin their colleagues in Camp.

The seven, made of 3 Black Maidens and 4 Black Princesses went into a 14 day Mandatory Isolation after testing positive for the virus in the first test conducted by the COVID-19 medical team in camp with the team.

The players have began training with the rest of the squad.

The medical team is performing several tests on the players, and have done 3 tests already within the three weeks of camping.

The latest test conducted amongst the entire squad and coaches saw two more players testing Positive, the 2 have however been Isolated pending a further round of test.

The COVID-19 medical team with the team are taking the players and their coaches through several COVID-19 protocols to ensure they stay safe in camp while preparing for their qualifiers.

The Confederation of Africa Football has postponed the qualifiers scheduled for September and October sighting travel restrictions across the African sub-region.
